Returns & Refunds

Cancellation

Please inform us within 14 days of receiving the goods if you wish to cancel your order.

You then have 14 days to return the goods once you have notified us.

To be eligible for cancellation and return, the item must be unused, undamaged, complete, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be returned in suitable packaging.

Where a cancellation return is accepted, we will process the refund within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods.

Refund Policy

If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange unless the goods are proven to be faulty or damaged.

Refunds are not automatically provided where a fault is reported. CNC Solutions Ltd reserves the right to assess the reported issue and, where appropriate, inspect the product or component before authorising any refund, repair, replacement or credit.

Custom Orders

Custom orders, including personalised, modified, special-order and made-to-order items, are non-refundable unless proven to be defective due to a manufacturing fault.

Once a custom order is placed, it cannot normally be cancelled once production, procurement or manufacturing has begun. This is because custom products are produced or sourced to meet the Customer's specific requirements and may not be suitable for resale.

Drawing Approval

For custom orders, a drawing, specification or technical document may be provided for approval before production begins.

It is the Customer's responsibility to carefully review the provided drawing or specification and ensure that it accurately reflects the required dimensions, features and technical requirements.

Once approval is provided, CNC Solutions Ltd will proceed based on the approved information.

Lead Times

Approximate lead times for manufacturing, procurement or delivery may be communicated at the time of order placement.

Lead times are estimates only and may change due to production volume, material availability, supplier delays, shipping delays, customs delays or unforeseen circumstances.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed of any significant change to the estimated lead time.

Returns and Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and the defect or damage has been confirmed following assessment.

If you believe an item is defective or damaged, please email us at sales@cnc-clamping.com with your order number, product details, a description of the issue and supporting evidence.

Supporting evidence may include photographs, videos, serial numbers, installation details, operating conditions, diagnostic information, fault descriptions and any troubleshooting already completed.

Goods must not be returned without prior written authorisation from CNC Solutions Ltd.

If a return is authorised, we will provide instructions explaining what should be returned and where it should be sent.

Inspection and Assessment

Once your return is received, we will notify you by email.

The returned item will then be inspected and assessed. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will advise whether the appropriate remedy is repair, replacement, credit or refund.

Repair or replacement of the defective product or component will normally be the primary remedy where appropriate and permitted by law.

Where a claim relates to a specific component or accessory, CNC Solutions Ltd may require the return of only that component or accessory for inspection. CNC Solutions Ltd is not obliged to accept return of unrelated products supplied as part of the same order.

Warranty Exclusions

Returns, refunds, repairs or replacements may be refused where the fault, damage or failure has been caused by:

  • Incorrect installation or setup;
  • Incorrect use or operation;
  • Operator error;
  • Use outside the intended operating conditions;
  • Incorrect electrical supply, vacuum supply or compressed air supply;
  • Insufficient maintenance or cleaning;
  • Contamination, swarf, coolant ingress, dust, moisture or foreign objects;
  • Accidental damage;
  • Unauthorised modification or repair;
  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Consumable items, unless defective on arrival;
  • Damage caused during return shipping due to inadequate packaging.

Damaged Goods on Delivery

If a product is received damaged, please photograph the damaged goods and all packaging immediately.

Please retain all packaging materials and damaged goods until the claim has been reviewed.

Notify CNC Solutions Ltd by email at sales@cnc-clamping.com as soon as possible after receiving the goods. Please include photographs of the packaging, the damaged item and any visible damage to the shipment.

Failure to retain packaging or provide evidence of transit damage may affect our ability to submit a carrier claim or authorise a remedy.

Return Shipping

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item unless otherwise agreed in writing by CNC Solutions Ltd.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

If a refund is approved, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund where applicable.

If you are returning an item with a value over 100 USD, we recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Returned goods must be packaged securely and appropriately. Damage caused during return shipping due to inadequate packaging may reduce or invalidate any refund, repair or replacement.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received an approved refund yet, please first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company or payment provider, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
